Criminal Cases in the Grundy County Courts
Grundy County criminal cases are heard in the Iowa District Court. Read Grundy County Case Outcomes
Charge code, charge description, and disposition are separate fields in a Grundy County criminal court record. The code identifies the charged law. The description gives a readable label. Federal Cases Beyond Grundy County Court
A federal prosecution arising from Grundy County is not filed in Iowa District Court. Grundy County lies in the Cedar Rapids Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. The federal courthouse is at 111 Seventh Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids, and federal dockets are searched through PACER.
